Is a leaf blower safe to use on my ps3?

basically i bought a ps3 on ebay that freezes nearly every 10 mins that is driving me crazy, i tried hoovering / patience but i have ran out, it has no warranty either. i was wondering if i could aim a leaf blower at the vents or any holes in the ps3 from about 20-30cm away to clean the dust that could be over heating it, just wanted to know if this would be safe? cheers guys!
