Are cracks in foundation walls common/normal?

I am getting a house that has had one wall in basement reinforced but some other walls have diagnal cracks still too? The look more like settling cracks and not harmful but not sure if this is a concern or not? The inspector said it should be fine and so did my realtor since they already had it fixed just not sure?
