What are current events in Venezuela?

i have a huge government project due shortly and i need help finding some ideas and answers. if anyone knows the current gist of the international involvement of Venezuela, including the UN. or anything about the current conflicts and events of the country that would be relevant for deciding whether or not to be a friend or a foe with venezuela. please help, im governmentally challenged!
