Should Tavaris Jackson start at QB so he can develop right now?

Brett Favre is not going to take Minnesota to the playoffs now that Sidney Rice will be out for the season so the Vikings might as well play Jackson to see if he has a chance in the future and personally I am sick of Favre refusing to play in training camp
