How do i know if a paintball CO2 canister is filled with carbon dioxide?

will it say on the label somewhere? its really important that its carbon dioxide because im using it for a science fair project. a lot paintball CO2 canisters are filled with propane and others are filled with nitrogen or just normal air and i dont want to make the mistake.
