Arm & Leg aching.......?

Hi, I've been having a few problems with my arm and leg for quite some time now. Basically it started off with my right leg swelling up and aching alot to the point where i can't even stand on it, it wasn't so painful at first but now as it's been a long time it's very painfull. Also, it had started to happen to my right arm aching and swelling and also my hand and all my fingers and swollen and numb. Can anyone help me? this is really gettin me down. I've made several trips to my GP and hospital they are doin an investigation but still not heard anything I have to have more blood tests but but love to know if anyone has had this kind of problem before and knows what it is, Thank you :)
