Which of these bands/ppl were in the counterculture in the 1960's,& were all of their music influenced by acid?

I would have to say all the above with the exception of CCR. I dont think their music was directly influenced by using LSD but certainly wrote songs about it. Acid in the 60's was as plentiful as weed today. The use was widespread and fairly commonplace. The strengh of acid then was astronomically greater than the crap on the streets today.One hit of "windowpain" could be cut into quarters and keep 4 people high for 10-12 hours. Purple Haze was hard to find but Jimi had no problem. He admitted to having as many as 5 or 6 hits under his headband during concerts to be a part of his music.
