I have size 8 ugg boots and i'm a size 7.5. they are a little too big what can i do to make it fit?

I bought size 8 ugg crochet boots and i'm a size 7.5 thinking that the size7 would be too smal.. But when I wore them its just too big that my feet lifts off. What can i do to make them fit well?
